In the year 330 BCE, Persepolis, the capital of the Persian Empire, was burned to the ground by the army of Alexander the Great. Exactly why Alexander would set fire to the "jewel of Persia" which, as conqueror, he now owned, is one of history's biggest secrets. With his well-known interest in Persian arts and culture, now lost forever, he was said to have regretted his actions for the rest of his life. You are now in Delphi to get some answers.
Why in Delphi, and not with Alexander? There was only one person able to read the king's heart, and she would never share his secrets. Her name was Thais of Athens, the hetaira (highly educated courtesan) traveling with the army. She once turned to the Delphic Oracle for a reading on Alexander's destiny. Persepolis was turned to ashes soon after.
The Oracle is the one you will face. We believe she will unravel the full story if you manage to recreate the intricate reading of her Oracle cards. May the Olympian gods whisper in your ear.
